Suspect detained after shooting at Cincinnati's Stanley Rowe Towers
Photo: Toms River Township (tomsriver.org)Cincinnati police have detained a suspect in a shooting at a West End apartment complex, after officers were called to the seventh floor of Stanley Rowe Towers on Poplar Street around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24.
Officers found an adult victim at the scene, WKRC reported. Officials have not released the victim's identity or condition, and police have not released the detained suspect's identity or a possible motive.
The shooting is the latest incident at the public-housing complex to draw a police response, and the investigation remains open as detectives work to establish what led to the gunfire. Police updated the case on Sunday, October 25, with the arrest still described as a detention in connection with the shooting and no further details released.
