Editorial illustration — Press Pass USAMembers of the U.S. Marshals' Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested two violent fugitives on Friday, federal officials announced.
Jayden Lockett, 19, was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder, linked to a Sept. 29 shots-fired call in the 1000 block of E. 68th St. in Cleveland.
The second arrest was Stephen Imler, 29, a former Northwest High School band director wanted by the Stark County Sheriff's Office on three counts of sexual battery and two counts of grooming. He was arrested in Norton, in the 4600 block of Hametown Road, after a secret Stark County grand jury indictment. Prosecutors say all charges involve the same victim, with the battery occurring this year and the grooming beginning when she was a freshman.
"Our task force works tirelessly to arrest the most dangerous fugitives," said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott.
